Minors' Experience Analysis of Romanticized or Sexualized Contact with an Educator

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of romanticized and sexualized contact of minor students and their adult educators which is being dominantly silenced in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. Theoretical part of the thesis presents psychological aspects of the developmental period of adolescence and of the pedagogical profession, discusses the issue of crossing professional boundaries by an educator and finally defines a specific subtype of educator sexual misconduct: educator sexual abuse of minor students in the form of a mutual sexualized type of a contact. The focus of the empirical part of the thesis is a research project framed by constructivist ontology, feminist epistemology and phenomenological metodology. The research project is an interpretative phenomenological analysis of the experience of five adult women who experienced romanticized or sexualized contact with their educator during adolescence. The purpose of the research was to gain an in-depth understanding of its participants' experiences both from their former adolescent perspective and their contemporary adult perspective and to capture any possible change of their mind during the given period concerning their own experiences. View of professional public on children's homes and foster care

The work deals with suitability of children's homes and foster care. It is considered based on their abilities to fulfil psychological needs of children and minors. In addition, the work deals with the possible way of these two forms of substitutional care on affecting mental development of their wards. Children's home, foster care and their historical evolution up to the present form in our country are described in the first half of this work. Furthermore, the term family and parenthood and their possible forms in the past and present are described. Children's and minors' needs, particularities of individual development phases in childhood and maturing, are described in this work as well. The suitability of children's homes and foster care, based on opinions of the authors of professional publications and ideas of professional public, are mentioned in the second part of the work. In conclusion, a part of this work commits to the way electronic mass media deal with this issue and which point of view they transfer to the non-professional public. The main result of the diploma thesis is that these three groups predominantly prefer the foster care to children's home. Primarily for the reason of real family environment which, unlike the children's home, the foster care can provide. Despite this fact, these groups are aware of the necessity of children's homes which, in some cases, could be a more convenient alternative to a birth family.

Vliv reklamy na stravovací návyky dětí a mladistvých

This bachelor thesis focuses on the influence of advertisement on children and minors and their eating habits. Since diet plays a fundamental role in terms of one's healthy development, these advertisements can have a negative impact on their health, as neither children nor minors have the mental capacity to resist the influence of many marketing practices. The aim of this thesis is to summarise those practices, that are used in marketing communication and point out the risks of unhealthy food advertising in connection to children and minors. Subsequently the thesis focuses on the regulation of advertisement. It will summarise regulation of advertisement in EU, regarding its directives, as well as in specific countries of EU, where both legal regulations and rules from self-regulatory organizations will be described. Finally, there will be a comparison of these regulations with those that are used to protect children and minors in Czech Republic.

Enforcement of judgment regarding the raising of minors

in English I have chosen as the topic of my thesis "Enforcement of judgment regarding the raising of minors", extended of matters related to international child abduction. Such topic is not being found interesting by me only it is also a very current topic and is being widely discussed in today's society. And yet it is not a topic covered thoroughly enough, in my opinion. I have intended to present those issues of legal regulations that are causing certain difficulties when has been applied in practices, and therefore widely discussed among the professionals as well as the general public. Given the scope of my thesis I was not only engaged in theory, but I was also trying to find items in current legal regulations that shall be improved, despite its recent amendment. I do justify my choice of this topic in the introduction part of the thesis and adumbrate the current social atmosphere of the area. Legal capacity of minors in comparison with German Law

This thesis focuses on legal capacity of minors. Maturity of a person depends on his or her age and the development of a personality is consecutive, therefore each legal system must deal with a question how to incorporate a capacity of minors (going through this development) to cause legal effects with own acts. These persons need a higher degree of protection and a different intensity of control or surveillance. Based on general description of several theoretical approaches to the issue the solution chosen in the Czech Republic and in Germany is being closely analyzed. The text of this thesis is divided into five chapters. Firstly, the Czech legislation concerning the issue is being explained. In the first chapter all the basic terms are defined and also the system of legislation regarding legal capacity is shortly outlined. The second chapter includes detailed analysis of legislation concerning legal capacity of minors. The basic criterion for assessment of capacity to cause legal effects with own acts is intellectual and volitional maturity. This criterion is complemented with special cases of a minor acting with consent of his legal representative, operation of business and performance of dependent work. The Table for Determination of Alimony - the Role and Efficiency in Judicial Practice

Three years ago, the Ministry of Justice in the Czech Republic stated in judicial practice a recommending table whose intention was to unify the decision-making practice of courts in determining of alimony. The table should rectify a vague treatment of the maintenance obligations, guarantee a legal certainty for all participants and predictability of decisions. The alimony often covers only a part of all costs for a child under conditions that it is paid. The situation is even more problematic because the single-parent families with minors usually belong to the households which are mostly threatened by poverty. These families are most often headed by woman, who bears the brunt of caretaker and breadwinner roles. Their role is also influenced by the disadvantageous position at a labour market. The result of all these factors is usually a feminization of poverty and transmission of the standard of living from a mother to a child. My research interviews were focused on the fact if the table is used in practice. I evaluate its efficiency and represent modifications suggested by the courts. The analysis showed that not all courts use the table or use it at different levels. It is a consequence of reading of the word "recommending". It describes systems used for age rating of games and principles of their functioning. It uses a qualitative research method - a form created in Google Forms and distributed via the link. The main research sample consisted of pupils of elementary and secondary schools. There were 255 participants, and their age was between 11 - 18 years.
